This series of work is inspired by long hours of staring off at the horizon over a body of water. Watching the sun dips its burning toes into a body of water is calming and cuts us off from the constant hum of modern society.
The meeting point of two very different elements is an intriguing area that I highlight in a handmade 2” deep shadowbox by combining photography and holographic material that changes in all kinds of light. Without even knowing each of the locations where the photographs were taken, you will know exactly where it is. Each piece will bring you back to your very own water.
