On a hot summer day, there is nothing that compares to a quick plunge into the pool and the enveloping calm and serenity at breaking the surface.
This mixed media piece features my original photography mounted in a 2" deep handmade white shadow box frame. I paint with translucent india ink and water on the inside of the glass and finish by adding some metallic foil detailing. When the light illuminates the piece, a layer of coloured reflection is revealed.
