How do we define what it means to be generous and giving? A blonde woman extending an empty hand still exudes a sense of giving up what little she has in support of someone else.
I was inspired by a conversation with a friend about her winter trip to Iceland. Thinking about the different shades of white, I began to photograph white, on white, against white. How little detail there could there be in an image and still encourage the viewer to engage with the piece and charge these figures with their own memories and experiences?
